What would evoke such emotion?
Well, seeing your granddaughters for the first time of course!
These little ladies were born yesterday. Their incredible mother was able to keep them a cookin’ for… are you ready??? 39 weeks! I couldn’t imagine!! First grandchildren, and very much adored. I will be visiting with them again in a few days for a newborn session.
Here they are in the WBN getting all warmed up. Daddy was able to come and check out his new little girls.
Here they are getting their first bath. They didn’t appreciate their time at the spa, but thought that getting their hair washed was quite ok.
Grandpa couldn’t wait to get his hands on them.

Here is my 7 month old daughter Norah this morning. Wish they could stay small for just a little longer.

Like I mentioned in an earlier post I just did some commercial work for Jeff and Teal Batson who own both The Wildflour Cafe (Towers Mall) & On The Rise Bakery. Life for me before photographing adorable kiddos was product photography. I had fun and I think I got some pretty mouthwatering pictures for Teal! I had a hard time editing though, I wanted to eat!!

Two years ago I photographed “B” as she entered this world at home (Baby B slideshow) and again when she was a week old. Here she is a big sister, her little sister was born on New Years Eve. I was again invited into their home for the birth of baby J. Baby J was born in the wee hours of New Years Eve which was during a bad snow and ice storm. The midwife barely made it there, her car ended up in a ditch! Thank goodness for kind neighbors, they were able to get midwife to the home in time. I on the other hand had a two hour drive and had to get up and over Bent Mountain. Not a problem for my jeep, but I made it there about 15 minutes too late. Baby J was safely in the arms of her parents screaming the cry only a newborn can. I captured what I could of the night and headed back home. Here is Big sister B & her new sister J.
