This was a fantastic family in Roanoke that I recently had the pleasure of working with. They have a very handsome son that if I remember right was around 2 years old, with their second son on the way. How beautiful is this family!?! I would have given anything to look so stunning while pregnant. This mom is glowing!!! I can’t wait to meet baby Gunnar when he arrives. I wonder how big brother will do? He keeps mom and dad a hoppin right now!! :)

I have been working on many different things in addition to all the sessions these past few months. I had commercial assignments for two Military and Police working dog companies, Ray Allen MFG in Colorado, and Signature K9. I did their new product photos for their newest catalog and designed a print ready catalog for Signature K9. I also just made a book titled Babies of Roanoke for Dr Eric Swisher’s waiting area of Physicians to Women. The book is 31 pages and features babies I have photographed from the area. Months ago I had printed a slew of Babies of Roanoke Calendars but neglected to ever put them up for sale! Last year I donated several to a Childrens Miracle Network fundraiser. If anyone knows of any fundraisers where I can donate a few let me know! I will have pictures of all my recent projects really soon. Until then, here is the cover and back cover of the new book that will be arriving! I can’t wait!! Its always fun to see your work published and in front of you instead of on the computer!

All these beautiful mothers are due in April. Be ready for a bunch of newborns to take a peek at!! Some have already been born and are getting ready for their sessions. One mom on here is having twins!! Identical girls! Im so excited for all these tiny little babies I get to see very soon.

This beautiful mother to be is due in May… and she looks fantastic! Their house had beautiful soft light that came though the windows so I was able to use natural light for the majority of the images. It will be perfect for when the baby is here… to have that filtered light flowing across the baby for the newborn session. I can’t wait to meet their little one in a few months. This is their first baby, and they waited a long time for her to come. She is going to be a treasured little girl, thats for sure!
