This little baby turned two weeks old when I came to take her pictures. She was 18 years in the making!! What a special little girl. She was a ham!! I have never had a newborn that stayed awake through almost the whole session + never fussed!! She was so alert, content , and peaceful. Momma was able to put her to sleep a few times but shortly after mom would lay her back down for me she would open her big blue eyes! I think my favorite picture from this session is the one where mom is cradling baby in her arms. No words are needed, you can see the love, the relief that her daughter is finally here.
Mom had bought this adorable little hat and diaper cover set.

This little guy had the most squeezable cheeks!! Grandma lives here in Roanoke and bought a gift certificate for her son & daughter in law to have a session with me before he was even born! They live out of state and while they were visiting Grandma & Grandpa in South Roanoke we were able to set up a session. I usually like to do sessions with babies when they are fresh newborns or sturdy sitters, but my gosh this baby did great! Smiles, chubby, BIG brown eyes and oh so cute! Be sure to check out the last picture, his Aunt bought a hat that Grandma thought we need a picture of! I smile when I see it, and I think you will too! Hehehe
This Quilt has been passed down through the generations, so Grandma got it out for this session. It was so pretty!
At 4 months he had found his fists, and loved to chew on his fingers.

Here they are, the full 2010 Holiday Card Collection! There is a BUNCH!! Beautiful and very unique. Gone is the plain old 5×7 size!!
To all my clients wishing to order holiday cards this year–
When choosing your card & pictures for the card please take note of the vertical or horizontal presentation of the photo on the card you choose. If you need help picking a picture please let me know. If you did not sign up for a Holiday Session this year but would like to order cards please email or call me and I will re-post your photo gallery and you can pick out a picture to use.
Oh and before I forget, I can do minor modifications to cards to fit your needs, such as change the saying, add a picture if there is none on the back, if you have more than one child I can make a collage of 2-4 pictures on the back of a card to include everyone. We all know how hard it is to get lots of pictures of everyone together!!

Well, meet their baby boy Jayden! This little guy was one of the best sleepers. He literally did not open his eyes the whole time! I love to get awake pictures of newborns, its usually some of the families favorite photos. Only after I had everything packed up and ready to head out did Baby Jayden finally open his eyes. Little stinker! Anyhow, here he is!
